After losing to both West Perry and Selinsgrove, Juniata made sure that streak would end at home. Juniata kept a steady lead throughout the whole game, securing the win. Juniata’s defense made sure to keep the Buffaloes of Newport at bay during their offensive plays. Juniata’s offensive line was on their A-game, with starting quarterback Aaron Kanagy assisting 5 touchdowns. Casey Smith had one interception and one touchdown; Jasper Shepps and Seth Laub both scored 1 touchdown. Meanwhile, Waylon Ehrenzeller had 2 touchdowns and 5 tackles. Juniata ended the game with a successful win of 36-0. A special thanks to Student Council and the National Guard for providing the Jerseys for our Military Appreciation Night.
