On April 1st, the Juniata High School Student Council sponsored a pep rally during 8th period. The student council used this time to recognize students who participated in spring sports, including, the baseball, softball, tennis and track teams. They also recognized all of JHS's student performers, including the band and the cast of the spring musical, Disaster!.
The council also recognized the JHS wrestling team, who had an outstanding season.

The JHS Student Council also held a raffle for all students who participated each day during spirit week. The following students were the big winners.
The 9th grade winner was Ashleigh Funkhouser. She won a $10 gift card sponsored by the baseball team.
The 10th grade winner was Mariska Beward. She won a $10 gift card sponsored by the baseball team.
The 11th grade winner was Livia Arentz. She won a $10 gift card sponsored by the baseball team.
The 12th grade winner was Emily Houtz. She won a $10 gift card sponsored by the student council.
Finally, no pep rally would be complete without games. Featured was an extreme game of Hungry Hungry Hippos and a Faculty v. Seniors basketball game!
