Juniata High School

Introducing March’s student of the month, we have our very own Evan Leach!  Evan is in 12th grade, one of our seniors here at Juniata High School. He plays on our soccer team in the fall, and plays basketball for Juniata in the winter, as well as being a member of NHS. Evan does not currently play any spring sports, though he does work at his grandparents Christmas tree farm. He resides with his parents at their house in Mifflintown, along with his sister. Evan has committed to Bucknell in the fall of 2022, where he will be studying economics . Standing at an impressive 6’4”, Evan is hard to miss in a crowd of people. The tallest person in the senior class, you would think Evan lives with his head in the clouds, but the reality is quite the opposite! His favorite class in school is physics, which is taught by Mrs. Everett. A hearty congratulations to the other students of the month who won in their respective grades. Ninth grade’s winner is Ava Lauver. Tenth grade’s winner is Shalelyn Armstrong. And eleventh grade’s winner is Akira Harris. Good work to all of you!
