Juniata High School

Come join JHS Student Council and help coordinate events around the school. The main goals of the JHS Student Council are to promote positive attitudes of cooperation between the students and the faculty, provide volunteer opportunities to the school and community, create an environment in which students can state opinions, and foster citizenship along with leadership. Every student must adopt the Student Council constitution, which consists of 6 articles outlining the obligations of the council and the roles in which are to be filled. Along with this, anyone joining the Student Council must have good academic standing. There are many events in which the Student Council has already thought of including events like spirit week, pep rallies, teacher appreciation week, Free Throw Fridays and much more. Join the Student Council and plan events for all of JHS!
