PSECU Scholarship - $2,000-per-year scholarship that is renewable for up to 4 years based on the fulfillment of set academic requirements, including GPA. Student must be a current PSECU member. He or she must be a high school senior planning to attend a 2 or 4 year college or university. Deadline to apply is February 28, 2022 by noon.
Hermine Solt Student Scholarship - $500 scholarship for seniors that are planning to pursue post-secondary education in a business-related field. Criteria for consideration include financial need, academic performance, school activities, work/community/volunteer activities, and traits of leadership, citizenship and service to school and community with an excellent attendance record. Misty Hoover Memorial Scholarship - $1000 scholarship to a student accepted to an institution of higher education for a major in the arts. Applicants will need proof of enrollment, write an essay and provide a small art portfolio. Applications are available in the guidance office. Deadline to apply is March 1, 2022
Jay Blair Ernest Memorial Scholarship - $1,000 scholarship available to a high school senior. Student must major in secondary science education, general education or pre-med. Applications available in the guidance office. Deadline to apply is March 31, 2022.
Valley Rural Electric Brighter Future Scholarship - $1,000 scholarship awarded to a Valley REC member or dependent planning to enroll full time in an accredited post-secondary institution. Deadline to apply is March 31, 2022.
American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) Scholarship - $4,000 scholarship for a student who is enrolled in a 4-year bachelor’s degree program in Engineering, Environmental/Applied Sciences, or Construction Technology/Trades. Deadline to apply is April 2, 2022.
Vietnam Veterans of America Scholarship - $1,000 scholarship for a student enrolled in a 4-year, 2-year, or trade/technical school. Must provide a letter of acceptance. Deadline to apply is April 14, 2022.
Perry-Juniata Alumna Scholarship - $1,000 scholarship for the 2022 Fall Semester. Applicants who have been accepted to Penn State and meet the eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply. NCAA athletes are not eligible. Deadline to apply is April 16, 2022.
Abundant Blessings - $1,000 scholarship awarded to any JHS student that is planning to enroll in a post-secondary school. Mission and volunteer service is heavily weighted. Applications are available in the guidance office and are due on April 30, 2021.
Delta Kappa Gamma - $300 scholarship to a male or female pursuing a career in the field of education and attending a four year college. Monetary award will be presented after the recipient has satisfactorily completed one year of college. Applications are available in the guidance office. Deadline to apply is April 30, 2022.
JCEA - The Juniata County Education Association will award (2) $1,000 cash grants to two seniors who plan to enter into the teaching profession. The grant is given at the end of the sophomore year in college. Deadline to apply is May 1, 2022.
