On January 23rd in Huntingdon, eleven students from the Juniata High School Band went to the PMEA District 4 Band Festival; Darin Kint on percussion; Grace Wagner on Tuba; Fiorella Berbergi on Oboe; Jessica Maben, Hannah Ehrisman, Natalee Wolfe, Marissa Erhard all on clarinet; Kate Nace on piccolo; Alivia Foltz on trombone; Selena Mayall Marker on French Horn; and Kayanna Kristula on bass clarinet.
After auditions on Thursday and practicing all day Friday, they performed on Saturday. Congratulations to Darin, Grace, Fiorella, Jessica, Hannah, Alivia, Selena, and Kayanna who all advanced on to Regional Band in Altoona!
The PMEA District 4 Region Band Festival will begin March 5 and the concert will be held Friday, March 7th, 7:00 p.m., at Altoona High School.
