JHS is putting on The Music Man by Meredith Willson as their 2025 musical! The Music Man follows Harold Hill, a traveling salesman/con man, who travels to River City, Iowa to persuade them into buying instruments to form a boys’ band. “Professor” Hill knows nothing about music. And somebody is on to him… Marian Paroo, the local librarian and music teacher is very suspicious of him. Throughout all of this, Harold Hill ends up falling for Marian and she turns him into a good man by the end.
There was a callback audition that landed Wyatt Stroup the role of Harold Hill, and Kade Wagner the role of Marcellus Washburn, Harold’s friend.
