Juniata High School

Ava Shearer is the junior candidate for March’s Student of the Month! In school, Ava’s favorite class is Chemistry. She says, “It gives me a good mix of math while also incorporating science into it, and it’s very easy for me to understand…most of the time.” Her hope after high school is to attend a four-year college to be an athletic trainer while also playing basketball! After 3:15, you can find Ava on the basketball court or participating in track and field. She is also a proud member of the Student Council and NHS! Outside of school, Ava enjoys hunting and cooking.
