The Juniata County School District is now enrolling kindergarten students for the 2025-2026 school year. To request an enrollment packet, please contact Polly Digon at pdigon@jcsdk12.org or 717-436-2111, x5002, or visit the district’s administration office at 146 Weatherby Way, Mifflintown.
Documents required for kindergarten enrollment include:
· Proof of Residency – Acceptable documents include a property tax form, deed, lease, or letter on apartment complex or mobile home park letterhead, signed by the landlord; or two of the following: utility bills, bank statement, unemployment/employment check; vehicle registration, driver’s license or Department of Transportation identification card.
· Proof of Age – Birth certificate, passport, baptismal certificate or prior school records.
· Proof of Immunization Status – Physician’s statement/record of immunization or letter/statement of exemption.
In order to be eligible for kindergarten, a child must be not less than five (5) years of age on or before August 31.
