The Governor's Advisory Commission on Next Generation Engagement has announced the launch of its statewide Listening Sessions on the Digital Generation. Throughout the Commonwealth, they will meet directly with youth to learn about the role the internet and tech play in their lives and provide an open forum for youth 16-26 to share their experiences, concerns, and recommendations. The Governor's Advisory Commission knows that the most effective solutions come from giving the Next Generation the seat at the table they deserve. Their voices are essential, and the Commission is committed to traveling to their communities to hear them firsthand. Encouraging youth and young adults to engage civically is vital, and this is a simple, meaningful way for them to get involved and help shape positive policy recommendations through the Governor’s Office.
